How to describe the world is still an open question
Installation 2008
6 A2 drawings, texts, photos and smaller drawings.

The installation consists of elements relating to eachother in various subtile perceptual ways.
In the series of photos small drawings cover and partly camuflage a map, a diagram over human cells, a plant and a small globe.
The drawings are drawn from the objects behind them but develop into something else. In the last photo all the objects are gone and the drawings partly camuflage eachother. Each drawing from the photos are then framed together with texts about perception;
how the physiology of the eye relate to vision, how the brain form concepts, and how error and diseases often bring out latent powers and abilities one has not seen before, how some blind people have strong visual memory and vivid inner images.
Facts and fictions are mixed. The bigger drawings contain elements from the smaller ones twisted together into new forms.
